Last Of Us 2 Walkthrough Part 3: Seattle Day 1 – Capitol Hill (All Collectibles, Spoiler-Free)

Warning: We’ve ensured that our walkthrough contains minimal spoilers so you can still enjoy the game even if you need help finding collectibles. However, if you want to know nothing about the game before playing, you should stop reading now. You can always consult this walkthrough when you play the game a second time and want to find everything.

This is the third part of our expansive, spoiler-free walkthrough for The Last of Us Part 2 below. We’ll help you find every collectible, story item, weapon, and upgrade available in this section of the game–without spoiling the story or any encounters. Find everything you need to know below, covering the rest of Seattle Day 1, starting just after the Eastbrook Elementary portion.

Seattle Day 1 – Capitol Hill

Though it’s not as big as the Downtown area, Capitol Hill has several buildings you can enter spread out forward and to the left of where you start. If you’ve found the two-story building with the bagel store, you’re nearing the end of this section. We’ll outline what you can find in the other buildings along the way.

Apartment Complex

You can check two apartments in the complex that includes the drained pool you’ll see as you leave the apartment building. Head past the pool to the right into Apartment 6, which you’ll find easily if you follow the trail of fresh blood. You’ll find the Chevy’s Apology artifact in the upstairs bedroom, on the bed. You can also access Apartment 3 just past Apartment 6 in another building. Look in the end table next to the couch to find the Kinnard, Esq. Trading Card.

Orange Apartment

Next, you’ll come into the parking lot of a motel. There are a few rooms to pillage, one of which has a locked door. To get into that one, go through the room beside it to the back and jump through the window. You’ll find another window you can climb through to get into the locked room. Inside, you can get the Rockafella Trading Card from off the floor near the trash can.

To the right of the motel, you’ll see another building; on the second floor is an open doorwall in an apartment with orange shutters. Use the nearby dumpster to climb inside. In the kitchen, check the drawer for the Raul’s Olive Branch artifact. Head into the bedroom to find the Trip Mine Bomb weapon on the bed.

Gas Station

Look around for a mess of supplies, as well as a Workbench in the garage section.

Book Store

Head inside and go into the cafe side of the building (you’ll hear clickers, but they’re behind a closed door). Look on the counter for the Rebecca’s Tipoff artifact. Look at the table near the front door to find a Stealth Training Manual beside a typewriter.

Head into the back and clear out the infected. Check the table near the doorway you entered, on the close side of the bathrooms, to find the Doctor Stem Trading Card.

Supermarket

Clear the infected and head to the back area. Check the lockers to find the Sergeant Frost Trading Card. Head through the two-story bagel store to find the exit for this area.

Liquor Store

Once you’re over the next gate, check the building just beyond where the clicker exploded. In the back corner is a display stand with trading card boxes, where you can find the Candelabra Trading Card.

Ahead you’ll find a spot where you can see the TV station but have to drop down. Instead, turn right and find a ladder that’ll take you up to a watchtower. Supplies are inside, along with the Tower Doodles artifact.

After dropping down to the river, continue until you spot the Feel Her Love graffiti. Turn around and check inside the nearby military truck for the Raul’s Account artifact.

Gym

After you walk along the river for a moment, you’ll come to an area with more tripwires. Divert into the nearby building, which you’ll quickly realize is a gym. Look for a corkboard at the back of the room with the dummies to find the Fran’s Refusal artifact. In the back, you’ll find a Workbench.

Thrift Store

Just past the gym on the other side of the street is another storefront you can enter. Check the left side for a shelf marked “Children’s” with the Bizarrebra Trading Card on it.

Make your way past the furniture to the back area. On the bulletin board, grab the Thrift Store Reminder artifact, with a safe code on it. The rest of the code is written on the bathroom wall. Continue into the back room to find a safe. The code is 55-01-33. You’re done with this area and should be able to push on to the TV station now.

TV Station – Channel 13

After you shimmy along the outside of the building, you’ll enter another set of offices. Go left from the door exiting to find a Kimimela Trading Card on an office desk.

At the top of the stairs, you’ll hear radio static as you explore more offices. To the left is a window with two bodies nearby. In the office beside that, find the Dad’s Pep Talk artifact on the couch. Open the door on the right when you’re ready to proceed.

Subway – The Tunnels

When you get into the subway train cars, push through all the way to the back. Look left for the Subway Note artifact. Leave the car by the nearby door and continue forward, crawling underneath a car ahead. Keep moving until you see a red-lit door on the right to go onward, but first, go past it alongside the crashed train car just ahead. Look down beneath the car on your right to find The Imp Trading Card nestled among the trash there.

Through the door, you’ll see an acid-scoured body that Ellie will comment on. Climb the nearby ladder and open the door at the top to find a Workbench.

Your first encounter with Shamblers is next. If you kill the Shamblers, linger near one of their bodies after clearing out the rest of the infected to get a Journal Entry. After using the chain to open the gate ahead, you’ll enter a long hallway. Take the first door on the right and press to the back of the room. You’ll find an area locked with a cage. To the right of the cage is a table you can crawl under, leading to a hole you can crawl through to get inside the caged room. You’ll find a Dr. Daniela Star Trading Card on the table beside the computer there.

You’ll find a break room connected to the cage room. Beside the blue door back to the hallway, check the table for the Whittled Statue artifact. Look on one of the tables in the back for the Locker Room Note artifact. Break the glass of the nearby soda machine to find the Soda Can Note artifact inside. You can open the locked combination door with the code 15243.

Keep moving until you hit another area with crashed train cars and flooded tracks. Head to the right through the first car, then slip through the gap between two cars. Here, turn left and look for a spot where you can crawl under and inside one of the crashed train car lying on its side. Once inside it, you’ll find an open suitcase to your left with the Bastet Trading Card on top of it.

Climb up on top of the red vending machine to get atop the next train car. Go inside the next car ahead and turn right, where you’ll find the Subway Station Note artifact pinned to the door.

The Theater

Head straight back from the entrance, over the bar to the glass cases behind it. Break the one on the right and check the bottom to uncover the Mortem Trading Card.

Next, turn left and look for the Program for Cassandra artifact on a crate against the left wall, beside the bathroom. Head upstairs to the balcony to find the Lone FEDRA Soldier Journal #1 artifact. Follow the hallway on the second floor to the barricade to find a Beyond Trading Card in front of it.

Head through the Employees Only door near the bar to find the Projector Room, which has the Lone FEDRA Soldier #2 artifact.

Once you get the keys into the audience section of the theater, climb onto the stage and look for The Sick Habit Flyer / Set List artifact on one of the black crates, before going behind the curtain.

Three Years Ago – The Birthday Gift

Check the placard in front of the statue for a Journal Entry. Make sure to pick up the hat in the gift area just inside the building. In the Giants of the Earth room, look in the alcove on the right near the bathroom to find a Nighthawk Trading Card.

On the upper floor, approach the round benches to get a Journal Entry.

After crossing the pool to the other building, turn right at the moose statue. You’ll find the Saura Trading Card under a nearby bench.

Further in, you’ll find a skeleton with a gun nearby and the Suicide Note artifact with it.

Last Of Us 2 Walkthrough Part 9: Santa Barbara (All Collectibles, Spoiler-Free)

Warning: We’ve ensured that our walkthrough contains minimal spoilers so you can still enjoy the game even if you need help finding collectibles. You can always consult this walkthrough when you play the game a second time and want to find everything.

Finally, we’ve reached the gripping conclusion of The Last of Us Part 2 in the final part of our complete, spoiler-free walkthrough. As always, we’ll mark every collectible, story item, weapon, and upgrade–without spoiling the story or most of the encounters. Everything you need to know is below, but note that we’re skipping any discussions of locations or details that won’t help you find things you might miss, to avoid spoilers.

Santa Barbara – 2425 Constance

As you head down the street, you’ll see some infected gathering around 2418 Constance. Inside, check the bathroom for a note artifact about the Rattlers.

Pushing Inland

Before you leave the boat, check the counter for the Abby’s Note artifact. Once you’re up to the street, check the garage to your right, near the U-Move trailer, to find the Mansion Note artifact inside.

Continue on until you climb up onto the roof of a house and then go inside. Head to the right on the second floor to find a child’s bedroom with the CBB-73 Trading Card on the desk.

On the bottom floor, look for a Workbench in the kitchen. On the counter right next to it, you can grab the Runaway Warning artifact. Once you get out, stop by the police car and the guard rail beside it to get a Journal Entry.

Just ahead, you’ll trigger a cutscene. At the end, you’ll receive your final new weapon, the Silenced Submachine Gun.

From here, you’ll face the Rattlers, a tough new enemy faction. Note that these guys wear riot helmets and body armor they’ve taken off police, so they’re tougher to kill. You’ll sometimes need more than one headshot to bring them down, although their necks are still vulnerable, and stealth kills are still effective.

In the next area, look for a blue van with a Rattlers symbol painted on the side to unlock a Journal Entry.

As you follow the train tracks, you’ll climb on top of a car to spot the resort. When you drop down, look for the concrete step to your left. Get on that and turn left to find a blood trail leading to a body and the Santa Barbara Slave Note artifact pinned up beside it.

Resort

You’ll find a gap in the fence to get into the resort. Look for a Workbench in the wood workshop building just ahead. The Rattlers keep infected in their compound, which you can release to cause havoc by interacting with their chains.

The path forward takes you into the lighted hallway into the resort’s main building. Look for a table with a stereo just inside on the right as you enter; just behind it is the Sparkthug Trading Card.

Continue through the next area into another resort building, this one full of guest rooms. Take the big round staircase up and you should see a bed to your right with the Rattler’s Letter Home artifact on the end table beside it.

That’s it for collectibles and other items. There are a few more encounters ahead, as well as the conclusion of The Last of Us, which we won’t spoil here. Good luck!

Once you complete the game, you’ll unlock a New Game Plus mode, which allows you to replay the game with your weapons and upgrades. You’ll need that mode to unlock all of the weapon upgrades and character upgrades necessary to get their corresponding Trophies. A complete game file also allows you to access the Chapter Select menu, which will show you any collectibles you’ve missed along the way.

Weekend Hot Topic, part 2: The best games of 2020 so far

GameCentral readers give 2020 its half year report and discuss its best games, from Half-Life: Alyx to Streets Of Rage 4.

Since we’re now halfway through 2020 this week’s Hot Topic asked the same question it always asks at this time of year, even if the coronavirus has made a mess of the release schedules over the last six months.

We still wanted to know what your favourite games were though and there were actually more high-quality titles than you might first think, even if the front-runners were all very obvious…

Happy times
Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been my favourite of the year so far. That’s not exactly up against much competition though as I never liked The Last Of Us or Uncharted and if I do pick up the sequel it will only be once it is much cheaper.

What put me off the most is how miserable the game was likely to be, far more than the first from what I can tell, I just don’t need that right now. By comparison Animal Crossing is so cheerful and laidback you literally don’t have to do anything and are still rewarded for it. I’ve been playing it almost every day, often with friends during lockdown, and it’s just wonderful charming and creative.

My second favourite would probably be Final Fantasy 7 Remake. An impossible task which should never have been attempted but managed to turn out better than I expected. It’s drawn out and still fails to add depth to many important characters despite having all the time in the world but I enjoyed it. I don’t know that I want to play another two or three games with the same gameplay but it’s certainly better than I expected it to be.

Raging success
The Last Of Us Part 2 is probably going to be my favourite game of the whole year but since I haven’t finished it yet I’m not sure I should really put it forward. So instead I’ll mention a game that will probably get forgotten by the time awards season comes round: Streets Of Rage 4.

I really enjoyed that game and I could not understand why some people were saying it was a disgrace to the series. I admit I’m not a super hardcore fan that remembers every frame of the original but I had tons of fun with the new game.

Okay, the soundtrack was a bit underwhelming after all the hype but the graphics were great and I loved playing it in co-op. I hope there’s more from the same developer, both of Streets Of Rage and other Sega games.

Only choice
It’s got to be The Last Of Us Part 2. I’ve never played a game like it this year or any year and for me it blows the original away, which I always thought was overrated. The sequel is too long, with a lot of unnecessary filler, but behind that it’s pretty much perfect.

As other readers have said, it is frustrating you can’t really discuss it in public but the way the two main characters are portrayed and how they have completely opposite trajectories is handled extremely well and while I can understand complaints about the story not being interactive it kind of have to be to ensure the characters are kept going the way they do.

If you were able to make decisions the game would end after five minutes or never come to an end at all. Naughty Dog are telling a story the way they want to tell it and on those terms I think they hit a blinder.

Service of the year
Microsoft has had a pretty terrible generation but Ori And The Will Of The Wisps was a great way to go out. I regret backing them with the Xbox One, not least because it means I haven’t played The Last Of Us Part 2, which I imagine a lot of people are going to nominate this weekend. But there have been some highlights and the Ori games have definitely been up there.

I was surprised Microsoft didn’t buy Moon Studios (perhaps they tried to and they said no) but for me they’ve definitely been the best exclusives on the Xbox One. Really excellent Metroidvanias, with great gameplay, level design, and beautiful graphics.

I’d also like to say that Bleeding Edge is a lot better than many people seem to give credit for. I didn’t but it but played it for free on Game Pass and have really enjoyed it. Speaking of which, I’d say Game Pass was really the best ‘thing’ that has come out this year. Just fantastic value for money and if I ever did buy an Xbox console again that would be the reason, not any one specific game.

Dream video game
Half-Life: Alyx is going to get ignored a lot in the game of the year awards in December, for the obvious fact that it’s a VR game not many people will have had the chance to play. But I have played it and I think it was worth the wait for a new Half-Life game. Which given how long we’ve been waiting gives an idea of how great it is!

Amazing use of technology but also great game design that turns limitations into positives and had me constantly forgetting I was even holding controllers or that I was playing a game. That may sound crazy but it really does seem like an alternate reality, somewhere between a dream and a video game.

Of all the games this year, and obviously there haven’t been that many, it’s the one that makes me most optimistic about the future of gaming and makes it obvious we have a long, long way to go yet in terms of new ideas and new tech.

Half-year award
I’ll be honest, the only game I’ve bought this year, that came out this year, was 51 Worldwide Games. My girlfriend liked the sound of it and convinced me to get it for everyone to play, especially as we were in lockdown then and it wasn’t full price.

It’s a neat little game and a good way to get non-gamers interested in video games, but obvious it’s not game of the year material. Or even game of the half-year.

Chapter One
I’d have thought the main Hot Topic would have been about Dr Disrespect and his permaban on Twitch! Oh, no one knows what I’m on about. In that case then: Final Fantasy 7 Remake!

To be honest, I have only just got the game recently, but it will have to go to being the best 2020 game I have played so far this year. I am currently mingling with the locals of Wall Market in the slums of Midgar, to get inside Don Corneo’s mansion! This was actually one of my favourite moments from the original, and knowing from some slight information being leaked, the dressing up of Cloud and a full-on dance segment to aim for is really thrilling me before even getting to Corneo’s mansion.

What I like about what they have done is the fact that the characters are so much more fleshed out, and even the antagonist Shinra executives are all having longer parts to play.

Stand out characters for me, either good or bad, are Heidegger, Jessie and co., and Reno. I can’t wait for future characters coming into it more, like Professor Hojo, Reeve, and the whole J.E.N.O.V.A. mystery, to be explained in a very deep and satisfactory way.

Graphics and gameplay are spot on to me. They managed to keep the classic stuff mixed in with the awesome new elements of gameplay and graphical design. The music is just ‘wow’, mind-blowing. The original tunes, but so masterfully remade, and just as good as the Secret Of Mana remake’s (Seiken Densetsu 2 on the SNES) music.

I know all of the game is set in Midgar, but it has so far got me excited for the next two in the series already. How long do we have to wait for them! As long as needs be to keep the series perfect with each part released. With some storyline changes and some big key moments possibly changing, I can safely say that I am slightly hyped for the next Final Fantasy 7 Remake chapter, which is definitely good in my book.

The Last Of Us Part 2 Workbench Locations – Where To Find All Workbenches

Note: We’ve gone out of our way not to include spoilers for anything that happens in The Last of Us Part 2, but looking at any photos or reading any descriptions might give away plot details you’d rather now know. You’ve been warned.

There are 25 Workbenches scattered throughout The Last of Us Part 2, and they can be pretty essential to your survival. They’re the only places that you can use gun parts you scavenge throughout the game to upgrade your weapons. What’s more, finding and using every Workbench in the game unlocks a Trophy you’ll need if you want to get Platinum for The Last of Us Part 2. Here’s every single Workbench in the game, divided by chapter, to help you get the most out of your weapons and stay alive as you seek revenge.

Patrol

Workbench 1: Library

After the blizzard kicks up, you’ll shelter in a library. As you explore, Dina will point out the Workbench and suggest you upgrade your guns. You can’t miss this one.

Seattle Day 1

Downtown

Workbench 2:5th and Marion Checkpoint

Use your map to navigate to the corner of 5th and Marion, where you’ll find an old FEDRA checkpoint and a sealed gated marked West Gate 2. Find a ladder near West Gate 2 and climb to get onto the checkpoint wall. Head around to the side to find some tents. Inside is your Workbench.

Capitol Hill (after leaving Eastbrook Elementary)

Workbench 3: Gas Station Garage

Head to the left from after passing through the motel to find a gas station down the road some. Attached to it is a garage whose door you can slip under to find the Workbench.

Workbench 4: Gym

As you continue toward the TV station, you’ll find an area with tripwire bombs. To get around them, break a nearby window on the right side of the street to get into a gym. Past the training dummies, in the back of the building, is the Workbench.

Tunnels

Workbench 5: Subway

Your path will divert into the subway after reaching the TV station. Keep moving until you come into a red-lit room with an acid-scoured body hung up in a hole in a fence–Ellie will comment on it. To the right of the body is a ladder you can climb, with the Workbench waiting at the top.

Seattle Day 2

Hillcrest

Workbench 6: Rosemont

Right after you enter Hillcrest, you’ll find stores you can go inside: Natural Remedies is right ahead, and The Rosemont clothing store is across from it on the other side of the street. Go inside Rosemont and to the back of the shop, where you’ll find a hole in the wall leading to the basement. You’ll find a Workbench waiting there, along with artifacts suggesting the place belonged to an archer named Boris.

Workbench 7: Bike Shop

Your path through Hillcrest will drop you into the basement of the bike shop and the Workbench that waits there. This is another one you can’t miss.

The Seraphites (Seattle Day 2 – Dusk)

Workbench 8: WLF Apartment Safehouse

Your path will bring you to a locked metal gate that you can’t open (if you hop to the other side, you’ll find a puzzle involving a dumpster you’ll need to solve). On the other side of the street is an apartment building with a truck you can climb to access the second floor. Get inside to find an apartment you can scavenge, then leave to access the hallway. Across from the apartment you left is another one–in the back, you’ll find the Workbench.

Workbench 9: Weston’s Pharmacy

Once you’ve passed through the Merci building, you’ll drop into a pool and climb out on the other side of the road. Look for Weston’s on the left side of the path forward. There are a lot of supplies inside, as well as a safe, and a Workbench in the pharmacy’s back room.

Seattle Day 3

Road to the Aquarium

Workbench 10: Store’s Barricaded Room

After you leave the theater, your path toward the aquarium will divert you through a storefront, and then into the back hallways of the building between shops. As you head down the hall, look for a blocked door on your right, which you can crawl under. The Workbench is inside.

Workbench 11: Department Store Office

You’ll pass an area with a lot of scaffolding in front of storefronts before attempting to make your way up to a footbridge between two buildings. Your path will take you to the left through a destroyed, multi-level department store. Climb to the top floor, but instead of heading to the bridge, turn around and look for a path to the offices behind you. The Workbench is waiting among them.

The Flooded City

Workbench 12: Manufacturing Building

Once you’re done with the mall, you’ll get a boat that you can use to traverse the rest of Seattle to get to the aquarium. Continue until you ride down some rapids and Ellie is forced to restart the boat’s motor. From here, look ahead for a storefront with a blue awning and a sign that reads “Manufacturing.” Hop out of the boat and go in to find the Workbench.

Workbench 13: Barcade

Eventually, you’ll take your boat into the flooded front of a barcade restaurant. The path is blocked here by a gate you have to raise, but the chain is obstructed by debris, forcing you to get out. You’ll find stairs in the back to get to the barcade’s second floor; head to the right, past the arcade machines and pool table, to find the Workbench against the right wall.

Seattle Day 1

On Foot

Workbench 14: Boat Repair Shop

After passing through the hardware store, you’ll use a rope to climb up on top of a boat shop and enter it from the roof. The Workbench is inside and hard to miss as you pass through the building.

The Forward Base

Workbench 15: Tents Outside Hotel

Another one that’s tough to miss, this Workbench is located in one of the green tents as you walk toward Serevena Hotel.

Hostile Territory (Seattle Day 1 – Dusk)

Workbench 16: Scar Camp

Once you’ve pushed through the destroyed building and climbed to the top, you’ll exit into an abandoned Scar camp on an outdoor patio. You’ll find the Workbench in the back corner before you leave.

The Forest

Workbench 17: Garage

After you exit the forest, you’ll slip under the door of an auto garage. The Workbench is against the back wall of the building.

The Coast

Workbench 18: Construction Site Office

Keep moving until you hit a construction site. Climb over the fence and enter the building on the far side to find the Workbench inside.

Seattle Day 2

The Shortcut

Workbench 19: Cellphone Store

Your meandering path will take you up the rapids that have flooded the street, through several stores. After you’ve gone through the apartment that takes you to the roof with the arrows, you’ll soon enter a cellphone store. Look to the left of the entrance to find a Workbench against the wall.

Workbench 20: Near the Prophet Shrine

Once you’ve entered the skyscraper, you’ll ascend toward the sky bridge. Keep going until you see the Prophet Shrine; in the next room is the Workbench.

Working through the hospital, you’ll find several of the doors are locked without power. Eventually, you’ll climb into the electrical room, where you can restore the hospital’s generator and power up the doors. There’s a Workbench in the same room.

Workbench 22: Past The Logging Camp

Making your way across the island will take you to the Logging Camp, and you’ll have to cross through the mill on the far side to continue. The other side is empty of Seraphites, and just ahead, you’ll come to a pair of buildings. The one on the right contains another shrine, but the one on the left has a Workbench inside.

The Escape – Old Town

Workbench 23: Radio Station

When you get to the Old Town section of the island, you’ll make your way to a radio station, which you’ll enter from the roof. The Workbench is inside.

Santa Barbara

Pushing Inland

Workbench 24: Mansion Kitchen

You trip through Santa Barbara will take you down a street where you’ll encounter some infected, and you’ll then spot a clicker on a rooftop. Heading through the hole in the roof, you’ll enter the mansion and then drop down to floor below. Check to your right to find a Workbench in the kitchen.

The Resort

Workbench 25: Workshop

You’ll enter the resort by crawling through a hole in the fence after following the train tracks. Once you get inside, just ahead of you will be a workshop building, past a tent, in the center of the yard. The final Workbench is inside.

The Last Of Us Part 2 Hidden Trophies Guide: How To Get The Platinum

There are a whole bunch of Trophies to find in The Last of Us Part 2. Many of them are linked to scavenging, requiring you to scour the world for collectibles, weapons, workbenches, and other items and elements you can use to make yourself stronger and more survivable. A few, however, are about more story-focused moments, and they’re easy to miss if you don’t know they’re happening.

Lucky for you, we’ve tracked down every Trophy in The Last of Us Part 2 and we know exactly how to earn them. The guide below will point out where you can unlock each one. Be warned that this is spoiler territory, however, so go at your own risk. Any information you see beyond this point is liable to reveal story elements to you that are best discovered on your own.

Looks Good On You Trophy

Found: Seattle Day 1 – The Birthday Gift

You can get this trophy during the first flashback you play through with Joel and Ellie. The scene takes place in a museum, where the pair can visit a number of exhibits. Right after you enter the first room of the museum, you can find a brown hat on a rack, which Ellie will wear. As you wander through the dinosaur exhibit, you’ll then get the opportunity to put the hat on the various skeletons, and then take it back off.

While you’re going, pay attention for a chance to ask Joel to get him to try it on. You’ll want to move slowly through the exhibit and interact with all the dinosaurs, because the prompt to get the Trophy is contextual and you won’t want to miss your opportunity by going too quickly. After putting the hat on two or three skeletons, you should get an optional prompt to put the hat on Joel. Once you’ve done it, you’ll earn the Looks Good On You Trophy.

Sharpshooter Trophy

Seattle Day 1 – The Stadium

Before heading out from the stadium, you’ll drop by the armory and pick up weapons. If you spin around from the quartermaster’s table before leaving, you’ll see a shooting range where you can test your guns. You also have a chance for a little friendly competition with Manny. Your goal is to beat him in a shooting contest. The best way to do that is to score all headshots, which isn’t too difficult. Take your time and line up your shots–the assault rifle is probably your best bet for this one because of its larger magazine and faster rate of fire.

The contest isn’t especially difficult to win, and once you do, you’ll earn the Sharpshooter Trophy.

Put My Name Up Trophy

Seattle Day 1 – Winter Visit

The last hidden trophy pops up during a second flashback in the aquarium. You’ll reach it at the end of the Hostile Territory section, after dealing with Scars in a few abandoned, destroyed buildings. The Trophy is another shooting contest, recalling a similar moment in Uncharted 4. You’ll see a toy bow on the ground in the middle of the aquarium, with a bunch of cardboard targets scattered around the room. The contest has you shooting the targets, with the goal of hitting as many as you can before a timer runs out. You don’t need to be a sharpshooter here. Your accuracy in hitting the target doesn’t matter, and you can shoot them from anywhere. This one is all about speed, but the tough part is in anticipating how much the arrows will drop as your range to a target increases.

A good strategy is to try to spot all the targets before you start the game, so you know where to shoot–especially toward the end, you’re liable to run out of time trying to find your last few targets. It’s a good idea to save right before you start so you can quickly retry to minigame if you run out of time. Earn the high score and you get the Put My Name Up Trophy, completing your hidden collection.

The Last Of Us Part 2 Hospital Boss Guide – Seattle Day 2: Ground Zero

Note: We’ve gone out of our way to avoid spoilers for anything that happens in The Last of Us Part 2, but looking at any photos or reading any descriptions might give away plot details you’d rather now know. If you’re hoping to remain completely unspoiled, we recommend playing through the game first.

Surviving in The Last of Us Part 2 requires you to sneak past both hostile humans and the deadly infected–but sometimes, you have to fight. There aren’t many battles that could be considered “boss fights” in The Last of Us Part 2, but you’ll know them when you get to them.

Read on for the strategies that’ll help you get through one of The Last of Us Part 2’s toughest moments: the battle in the hospital during Seattle Day 2’s Ground Zero chapter.

Boss Fight – Giant Infected

You’ll face this boss as you explore the hospital basement in the Ground Zero mission. This thing is pretty similar to a Bloater–it’ll charge you and kill you if it can grab hold of you, and it’ll barrel through walls to come after you. It can also throw explosive objects at you, so you’ll need to be careful, but the creature’s biggest danger is that it’ll keep coming for you.

The area where the fight takes place is the real enemy here, because it’s easy to get boxed into a corner, lose track of where you are, and get run down and murdered. It’s dark and murky throughout, making it tough to spot doors, ledges, holes, and windows you can move through, but playing keep-away from the boss is essential. This thing will take a ton of punishment to bring down, so your most important goal is to keep your distance so you can protect yourself, do some damage, and craft items you need whenever possible.

Often the best way to deal with the boss is to find a spot where there’s a central pillar or object you can move around, forcing the boss to circle with you. You might not do a lot of damage during these portions, but you’ll be able to stay out of danger and plot your next move. It’ll take a lot of damage to kill the boss, so focus on staying alive and managing space first and foremost; you’re not going to bring it down by shooting it a bunch before it gets to you.

Go for high-damage weapons for this fight: pipe bombs, your shotgun (and its incendiary rounds), and the Hunting Pistol are all good bets, while you can save your other weapons for when ammo is low. The Flamethrower works too, but its shorter range means you’ll need to let the boss get close before you use it, and it won’t slow him down any. You’ll find lots of gear scattered around the area if you need it, but since it’ll often push you into corners, make sure you have lots of room to maneuver before going for it.

Do enough damage and a smaller Stalker boss will peel off from the larger creature, forcing you to fight two creatures at once. Keep an eye out for this guy but don’t worry about doing a ton of damage to him–if you hurt the large boss enough, you’ll win this portion of the fight. Shoot the Stalker when it comes after you to force it to leave, but watch out that it doesn’t tangle you up and make you vulnerable to being one-shotted by the larger boss. Keeping shivs on-hand will make getting away easier.

Keep running and dealing damage until the big boss finally goes down. The Stalker will have escaped, forcing you to find and kill it in the next area of the hospital, the morgue. Though the Stalker is dangerous, it’s not nearly as deadly as the big boss, and your experience fighting other versions of this enemy will come into play here. Use the strongest guns you have left to wallop it, and if you need to, try to get away so you can go into stealth and resume the fight on your terms. When the battle is over, you’ll be able to exit into the parking garage.

Polygon’s The Last of Us Part 2 Seattle Day 3 – The Flooded City collectibles guide begins when Ellie arrives in the section of the river with the ice cream truck. It ends when Ellie reaches shore outside the aquarium. There are 6 Artifacts, 2 Trading Cards, 1 Journal Entry, 2 Workbenches, and 1 Safe to find in The Flooded City.

Pilot the boat through the rapids until you reach the first gate blocking forward progress. Get out of the boat and double back. There’s a room right next to the spot where the rapids break. Go in and walk to the desk at the far right end of the room. Open the right hand drawer to find a trading card for Seff-L’Ho’Phad, a neutral, interdimensional giant squid.

    After passing through the Seattle Sleep Warehouse area, look out for the flooded Carthy Hotel on your right. In the non-flooded corner, look for a skeleton near a wrecked ship. Next to the corpse, there’s a letter with a drawing of a Shambler warning any Wolves that come across it that this new infected variant is real and awful.
