- Two to four tablespoons of baking soda
- Small glass jar
- Twenty drops of peppermint essential oil

Pour all of your ingredients – including the coconut oil – into a large bowl, and mix everything together.
Make sure it’s all completely blended, so that there aren’t any clumps of baking soda.
Pour the mixture into a glass jar, and then simply add it to your toothbrush whenever it’s time to brush your teeth.
The toothpaste will taste pretty grim and salty by itself, which is why it’s recommended to add a few drops of peppermint oil.
You could also try adding cinnamon essential oil, if you’d rather.
You’ll want to use around half a teaspoon of toothpaste each time you brush your teeth.
The paste will turn into a liquid almost as soon as you pop it into your mouth, so you won’t need to add any water.
