World Of Warships: Legends November Update Brings It To PS5 And Xbox Series X

World of Warships: Legends November update is adding new campaigns, new Japanese Destroyers, new leaders, new projects, and compatibility for both PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Specific details regarding PS5 are scarce, however we know a bit about what to expect when the game hits Xbox Series X/S. WarGaming’s official patch notes said, “The Xbox Series X/S version of the game, which will be released before this update cycle is over, won’t support voice communication with other platforms (other than Series X and S) for some time. Crossplay will be supported right away, as it is currently.”

A specific timeline is yet to be announced beyond the above. We know even less about the PS5 update, as WarGaming said an “announcement about Legends on PlayStation 5 will follow soon!”

The full patch notes for the new content are lengthy, offering a deeper look at all the new content you’ll be able to explore when it goes live on November 9. Here are a few of the highlights:

  • New Japanese Destroyers
  • Tokyo Express campaigns
  • Two new Legendary Tier destroyer projects added to the Bureau

For the next four weeks, you’ll be able to work your way through the Yasen Butai Leader campaign. Completing it will unlock the Tier VII Japanese large cruiser Azuma. With 310mm mounted guns, the Azuma “can fight almost any target at range with her powerful high-explosive shells.” Battle through the 100 milestones with Admirality Backing to unlock the new cruiser. Once this campaign ends, the much shorter Tokyo Express campaign will kick off, running for two weeks. Anyone who completes it will be rewarded with the Japanese commander Raizo Tanaka – along with plenty of other new items.

World of Warships: Legends is currently available on PS4 and Xbox One. By the end of the month, you’ll be able to play it on both next-gen consoles.
