Warzone 2’s Upcoming Combat Records Won’t Include Stats From Season 1

Call of Duty Warzone 2's latest set of patch notes have been released ahead of the introduction of Season 1 Reloaded on December 14, outlining key changes and tweaks coming to the title. One of the newest updates will add Combat Records, something that will let you track specific statistics across all of your matches.

Unfortunately, if you were looking forward to seeing how many wins you racked up or any other statistic you may be interested in during your time with Season 1, you're out of luck. That's because, according to these patch notes, Combat Records won't include statistics from the launch of Season 1 up to Season 1 Reloaded, meaning all of your wins and other stats will be set to 0 upon the launch of the update.

"Warzone 2.0 Combat Records will come online with Season 01 Reloaded," reads the notes. "The statistics present in the Warzone 2.0 Combat Record will only be from the activation date forward, and will not include statistics from Season 01 launch through Season 01 Reloaded (November 16 to December 14)."

As you can probably imagine, the reaction to this hasn't gone down well with fans, especially as many believe there's no reason Infinity Ward couldn't have tracked stats due to the existence of calling cards. They also feel especially aggrieved since Warzone 2 has been out for a while now, and some players have managed to rack up hundreds of wins during that time. Sure, it puts everyone on an even playing field again, but it has to sting for dedicated fans to have to start all over again.

In more exciting Warzone 2 news, a leaked image from a few days ago suggests a smaller map called Return is going to be added to the game soon that will host game modes that require fewer players.
