Outriders: Worldslayer has introduced multiple new progression systems to keep players busy in Expeditions and the new Trial of Tarya Gratar endgame dungeon. One of the first new systems you'll be introduced to is your class' second skill tree, known in-game as your PAX Tree.

Each class in Outriders has access to a second, unique skill tree that provides some build-enabling benefits. While it's smaller than your standard character tree, the choices you make in your PAX Tree can fundamentally make or break a build in higher Apocalypse Tiers. What Is A PAX Tree?

A PAX Tree is a secondary skill tree you unlock during the Worldslayer campaign. Every class in Outriders has access to a unique PAX Tree that branches into two distinct paths. Each node in a PAX Tree is significantly stronger than a typical skill tree node, providing effects on par with Legendary sets and T3 mods.

As strong as these nodes can be, you may only have five nodes allocated in your PAX Tree at a time. Respeccing your PAX Tree can be done at any time for no cost.

Unlocking Your PAX Tree

Your PAX Tree unlocks upon completing the "Trepedition" quest during the Worldslayer campaign. By default, you'll only have access to one PAX Point, acting as this tree's version of skill points. Subsequent PAX Points may be earned by completing the following Worldslayer quests:

  • Pilgrimage
  • Shards
  • Wrath
  • Trial of Tarya Gratar

A maximum of five PAX Points are available in Worldslayer. All of these quests are tied to Worldslayer's main questline and endgame activity, so don't worry about missing any during your playthrough.

Devastator PAX Tree

Wrecker

Starting Diamond
Hunting SeasonIncrease your Weapon Damage by 30% and your magazine size by 50%.
HarvesterIncrease your Weapon Leech by 10%. Additionally, increase Weapon Leech by 2% for every enemy in Close Range up to 10%.
HardenedIncrease your Damage Mitigation by 5%. Additionally, increase Damage Mitigation by 2% for every enemy in Close Range up to 10%.
Finishing TouchIncrease your Weapon Damage by the percentage of ammo missing from your magazine. Killing shots replenish 35% of your magazine.
Top Branch
Armored DivisionIncrease your Armor Piercing by 20%. Reduce your Kinetic skill Cooldown by 50% of your Armor Piercing value.
Against Devastating OddsDamaging at least 3 enemies with a Kinetic skill grants you 30% Armor Piercing for 4 seconds. Damaging fewer enemies makes your shots Critical Shots for 4 seconds.
Middle Branch
Come One, Come AllYour Kinetic skill removes Effect Resistance from hit Elites. This effect has a 7-second cooldown.
ElitismShots on Elites reduce incoming damage from Elites by 15% and increase damage against Elites by 30% for 5 seconds. 5-second cooldown.
Bottom Branch
Strange SurgeonYour shots inflict Bleed. Killing an enemy afflicted with Bleed in Close Range reduces ongoing cooldowns for Protection skills by 1.5 seconds.
Overwhelming ForceWhile a Protection skill is active, you release seismic impulses every 2 seconds that deal damage equal to 40% of your armor.

Tectonic Shifter

Starting Diamond
Impact PointYour Seismic and Kinetic skill damage is increased by an additional 30% of your Anomaly Power. Bonus damage is split among all damaged enemies.
PunctureYour Seismic skills inflict Bleed. Anomaly Damage to enemies afflicted with Bleed is increased by 10%.
ObliterationIncrease your Anomaly Power and Resistance Piercing by 6%. Each damaged enemy increases the bonus by 3%, up to an additional 9% for 3 seconds.
Earthen ShellDamage dealt with skills is converted to Shield.
Top Branch
UpheavalEnemies damaged by Seismic skill become Upheaved for 2 seconds, storing 10% of damage received during that time and releasing it once the effect ends.
Multistrike30% of damage dealt by Seismic skills is stored and added to your next Seismic skill. The effect resets every time you release your stored damage.
Middle Branch
Richter RisingEnemies damaged by both Seismic and Kinetic skills within 4 seconds receive 15% more damage for 4 seconds.
Energy TransmissionEach enemy damaged by your Kinetic skills increases the damage of your next Seismic skill by 15%. Each enemy damaged by your Seismic skills reduces ongoing cooldowns of your Kinetic skills by 0.5 seconds.
Bottom Branch
Terms Of Engagement60% of damage dealt by Kinetic skills is stored and added to your next Kinetic skill. The effect resets every time you release your stored energy.
MomentumEach enemy damaged by your Kinetic skills reduces ongoing cooldowns of other Kinetic skills by 1 second, up to 4 seconds.

Gunblazer

Starting Diamond
Coming In HotDeal 15% more damage to enemies above 80% Health and 30% more damage to enemies below 30% Health.
Ashen RegaliaKilling Marked enemies increases your Damage Mitigation by 7% for 6 seconds. Stacks up to 3 times.
Ashen WakeYour shots damage all enemies afflicted with Ash within a 4-meter radius of the target, dealing 30% of the damage dealt.
Hot StreakCritical shots increase Weapon Damage by 6%. Bonus lasts for 4 seconds and stacks up to 5 times.
Top Branch
CarbonizationEnemies hit by your Immobilize skills receive 20% more Anomaly Damage for 4 seconds.
Carbon FootprintEach enemy hit by Immobilize skills reduces the cooldown of the other Immobilize skill by 0.5 seconds.
Middle Branch
Carbon AmmoIncreases your magazine size by 200%.
Bullet FrenzyShots with Assault Weapons increase your Weapon Damage by 3%. This effect stacks until you stop shooting.
Bottom Branch
Solar FlareActivating skills increases your Critical Damage by 10% for 6 seconds. Stacks up to 2 times.
Critical MassCritical Shots on Marked enemies turns all shots to Critical Shots for 2 seconds.

Pyromaniac

Starting Diamond
Melting PointIncreases your Resistance Piercing by 15% when above 80% Health and by 30% when below 40% Health.
Scorched FleshActivating Ignite skills increases your Status Power by 10% for 5 seconds. Stacks up to 3 times.
Master ExploderExplosive skill damage is increased by 100% of your Resistance Piercing.
ConvectionReduce all skill cooldowns by 4 seconds when all skills are on cooldown. 3This effect has a 3-second cooldown.
Top Branch
FurnaceIncreases your Status Power by 15% for every enemy afflicted with Burn. Stacks up to 5 times.
Burnt OfferingsIncrease your Burn duration by 500%, and each consecutive Burn tick on an enemy deals 10% more damage.
Middle Branch
ConductionReduces your skill cooldowns by 15%.
ArsonistActivating skills has a 30% chance to reset all skill cooldowns. This effect has a 5-second cooldown.

BackdraftYour Anomaly Power is increased by 30% for every skill on cooldown.

Initial StrikerActivating skills increases your Anomaly Power or Firepower by 10% for 5 seconds, depending on which of them is higher.
Brain DeadActivating Decay or Gadget skills increases your Weapon Damage by 15% for 5 seconds.
Lethal DevicesYour Ordnance and Gadget skills inflict Toxic to enemies hit and deal an additional 5% of your Anomaly Power as damage if Toxic was refreshed.
Pain KillerDamaging an enemy grants you 2% Health Regeneration for 3 seconds. Stacks up to 2 times.
Top Branch
PermanenceInflicting Toxic on an enemy has 100% chance to inflict a random additional status.
DissectionYou deal 5% more damage to enemies for every status inflicted on them.
Middle Branch
Necrotic TissueDamage against Elite enemies is increased by 20% when using a Sniper Weapon.
Twin ReaperSniper Weapon shots have a 75% chance to trigger an echo, dealing 25% of the damage dealt by the shot.
Bottom Branch
Break Their RanksYour Interrupt skills remove Effect Resistance from hit Elites. This effect has a 7-second cooldown.
Depleted CoreYour Ordnance skills' damage is increased by 100% of your Status Power.

Overseer

The UndyingEvery 5% of your missing Health increases your Weapon Leech and Skill Leech by 5%.
AcceleratorYour Weapon Damage is increased by 100% of your Weapon Leech.
OverrideYour Anomaly Power is increased by 100% of your Skill Leech.
ApothecaryYou pulse every 5 seconds, healing all Players within a 25-meter radius for 2% of all damage done by you between each pulse.
Top Branch
Purification ProtocolYour Turrets pulse in a 25-meter radius, removing up to 1 negative status effect from you and your allies.
LeadseekerYour Turrets pulse in a 25-meter radius, replenishing 30% of your ammo and granting 20% increased damage for 5 seconds for you and your allies.
Middle Branch
BiosyncYour Overheal is converted to a 3-second Health Regeneration effect for you and your allies.
Kinetic ConverterCritical shots heal the nearest ally for 20% of their Max Health. If Overheal occurs, the player also receives 30% increased damage for 5 seconds. This effect has a 5-second cooldown.
Bottom Branch
Hastened InfluenceReduce the remaining cooldown of one of your skills by 0.5 seconds for every status removed by you or applied to an enemy by any PLayer.
Burrowing ChargeCritical Shots inject enemies with an explosive charge for 5 seconds, dealing 250% of Anomaly Power as damage upon the next Critical Shot taken. This effect has a 5-second cooldown.

AdaptationActivating skills grants you 15% Anomaly Power or Firepower for 5 seconds depending on which of them is higher.
Reactive ShieldingActivating skills increases your Damage Mitigation by 5% for 6 seconds. Stacks up to 3 times.
PhasingActivating skills grants your 15% Shield and 10% Shield to allies.

Great ExpanseExtend the distance considered as Close Range by 2 meters.
Quantum EntanglementAll enemies in Close Range share 20% of your Weapon Damage.
Middle Branch
HarrowingIncrease your Resistance Piercing by 10%. Each enemy in Close Range increases the bonus by 2%, up to an additional 10%.
Spectral SpikeDamaging skills have a 100% chance to deal additional damage equal to 15% of your Anomaly Power. Consecutive triggers on the same enemy stack, dealing more damage up to 750%. This effect has a 1-second cooldown.

Cheap ShotYour Class Melee skill lowers damaged enemy's Armor and Resistance by 30% for 5 seconds.
Lies, DeceptionActivating Deception skills grants you 15% Shield every 1 second for 4 seconds.
Fail-safe ProtocolsWhen your Health drops below 30%, get 50% Shield and 20% Damage Mitigation for 3 seconds. Fail-safe Protocols can be triggered every 10 seconds.
Top Branch
Rigged GameActivating skills increases your Critical Damage by 10% for 5 seconds. Stacks up to 2 times.
Infinity SlingerSidearm Weapons do not consume ammo during and for 4 seconds after using a Movement skill.
Middle Branch
Power OverwhelmingIncreases your Firepower by 40% of your Anomaly Power when using an Assault Weapon.
Perpetuum TrickeryCritical shots increase your Anomaly Power by 10%, stacking up to 5 times. The stacks are consumed by the next Damage skill you use. Activating Damage skills increases your Assault Weapon Damage by 50% for 7 seconds.
Bottom Branch
Goals Beyond UnderstandingDamage done to Elites tagged with Deception skills has a 25% chance to be increased by 200%.
Meticulous Schemer200% of killing damage on enemies tagged with Deception skills is divided amongst other tagged enemies.
