Need For Speed Unbound Gameplay Leaks Online
Need for Speed Unbound gameplay footage is leaking online, days before its official launch. Somehow, it appears some fans have managed to get their hands on the game early, allowing them to share clips from their playthroughs.
While some of the videos are being taken down, not all of them have been, giving fans an early look at the game they're not meant to be playing until next Tuesday. These clips seem to mostly originate from a small Twitch account with almost no information attached to it, making it even more confusing as to how this early version of the game was made available to play.
It appears that the footage stems from a stream on the Twitch channel gerrykurlsucks. While it doesn't seem like the user saved the VOD, it was clipped by viewers plenty of times, and even reshared on YouTube, making the job of taking it down much harder for publisher EA. It's not known how gerrykurlsucks got their hands on the game early in the first place.
EA has, however, managed to stop at least one channel from streaming the game early. User movinbass1 was sharing game clips live yesterday, but seems to have since had all of the content from their channel removed on copyright grounds.
While the video quality isn't great, it's enough to get fans excited for release day. The general consensus appears to be positive, with most liking what they see so far. There are a few concerns being raised about the controls, but we won't know if this is warranted until we get behind the wheel ourselves.
If you want to get a look at other aspects of the game, you can check out a trailer on Unbound's customization options, which were shown off back in October.
Need for Speed Unbound is set to launch November 29, this Tuesday. It will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. There will be no support for last gen consoles.
