Logan Paul Will Take On Roman Reigns For The WWE Championship Title

Logan Paul will fight Undisputed WWE Universal Championship holder Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel, set to take place on November 5 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The announcement was made last night by Triple H at the WWE press event held in Las Vegas.

"We need to talk about Crown Jewel, and we need to talk about the biggest spectacle that will be happening on November 5 in Saudi Arabia," said Triple H, " when Roman Reigns will take on Logan Paul for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. It will be a match like no other, it will be a spectacle like no other."

No other matches have been announced for Crown Jewel as yet, which means Paul versus Reigns is likely to be the main event.

Before staring down Roman Reigns at the press event, Logan Paul had a few words for the Universal Champion.

"I have been wrestling my whole life. This is my sport. This is my industry," said Paul. "It took me a little while to find it, as I came of age as an entertainer–as a performer–I kind of found my home in the WWE. And that's why I called out the GOAT immediately. It's what I do.

"Crown Jewel is my match. Roman Reigns, you are the head of the table, but in every industry I ever do, I am the table."

Crown Jewel is so far set to be Logan Paul's third match since joining the WWE as a rising star. His first was with The Miz against Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania 38. Paul and Miz won that match, and then Paul went on to win a follow-up match against The Miz at SummerSlam. The Miz described Paul as the "fastest natural talent I have ever seen." Paul's fame has even crossed over to WWE 2K22 where he was added as a DLC character earlier this year.

Despite his rising stardom, Reigns scoffed at Paul’s challenge and issued his own warning. "You are in the deep end now. You are in the water with the biggest shark to ever live in the WWE."
