If you're growing tired of Wordle and you want more of a challenge, Knotwords has arrived. Billed as "a minimal and elegant logic puzzle", this new word puzzle has you arranging words in a crossword-like format with the aim of creating valid words both across and down.

How To Play Knotwords

Knotwords appears like a crossword, but it's trickier than that. Puzzle squares are grouped together with a set of letters for each group/segment. You have to figure out which order the letters go in while ensuring every word across and down is valid throughout the entire puzzle.

In the image above, you can see the first segment has "IORP" available, so using these letters we can create the word "PI" down while beginning the word "PROVES" across.

Some letters can be used more than once in a segment and will have a small number next to them on the keyboard to show how many you can use.

If you create a word that is not valid, it will be highlighted in pink!
