Fortnite update 2.75 patch notes: Version 13.10 delayed while Epic fixes THESE major bugs
UPDATE: Fortnite developer Epic Games has added a new item to the game as part of this week’s content update.
The new Fortnite update adds the Firefly jar, which is a throwable that can be used to damage enemies and start fires.
To use the Firefly jar, players must first catch a Firefly, which can be found around the map.
Epic has also resolved an issue with the Windshear Cloak Back Bling. The item has now been re-enabled.
“The visual issue with the Windshear Cloak Back Bling has been resolved, and the Back Bling is re-enabled,” Epic confirms.
ORIGINAL: Fortnite developer Epic Games has released yet another update on PC, consoles and smart devices.
The new Fortnite maintenance update – which should show up as version 2.75 on PS4 – makes a number of crucial fixes.
According to Epic Games on Twitter, the main function of the update is to address system stability.
It also makes one or two significant fixes in Party Royale, and addresses the hitching problem on iOS devices.
The news was announced by Epic Games on Twitter: “We’ve released a maintenance patch on all platforms that addresses stability and includes improvements for Party Royale.
“On iOS, this patch also addresses the issue causing players to experience a higher rate of hitching on certain devices.”
It appears as though this will serve as the main update for this week, which means update 13.10 is unlikely to launch until next week.
The plus side is that while we’re unlikely to get any new content or map changes this week, at least we don’t have to sit through hours of server downtime.
Express Online will keep you updated if the update 13.10 situation changes in the coming days.
In the meantime, check out the Fortnite maintenance update patch notes below…
