Far Cry 6 to star Gus from Breaking Bad according to deleted report
Breaking Bad’s Giancarlo Esposito has teased that he will star in an upcoming video game, which is apparently Far Cry 6.
Ubisoft’s E3 replacement, Ubisoft Forward, will be taking place later this month and, among the expected reveals, is a new Far Cry game.
Though there is no official confirmation, sources claim that we will see Far Cry 6 at the event and, unlike the previous entry, it won’t be set in America.
Now the same source, Gamereactor, has claimed that Breaking Bad actor Giancarlo Esposito will be making an appearance in the game.
The site has since deleted the article in question, but VG247 was able to screen-grab it for posterity.
The claim lines up with comments from Esposito himself, who played the character of Gus Fring in both Breaking Bad and its prequel show Better Call Saul. He also recently appeared as Moff Gideon in The Mandalorian.
In an interview with Collider, he talked about the difficulties of working with motion capture and that he is involved with an upcoming video game which he couldn’t talk about yet.
Esposito is no stranger to appearing in games, having lent his voice and likeness to the character of The Dentist in Payday 2.
Ubisoft Forward will take place on 12 July.
