Capcom Releases Resident Evil Village PC System Requirements
Capcom has finally released the system requirements for the upcoming Resident Evil Village. The game is a direct sequel to the Resident Evil 7 Biohazard, featuring some fan-favorite characters like Ethan Winters and Chris Redfield.
On the Japanese version of the Resident Evil Village pre-order page, we can access the minimum and recommended system requirements for the game. You can find these requirements for Resident Evil Village below.
Minimum System Requirements
For the minimum specs, you would need a Windows 10 (64bit required) operating system, with an Intel Core i5-7500 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 CPU, a minimum of 8 GB RAM, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (4GB VRAM) or AMD Radeon RX 560 (4GB VRAM). As mentioned, if you’re rooting for the minimum requirements for RE Village, and trying to get the full ray tracing feature in-game, you would need a better GPU that supports ray-tracing like an RTX 2060, or Radeon RX 6700 XT.
Recommended System Requirements
If you’re going for a non-ray tracing build, you would need a Windows 10 (64bit required) operating system, Intel Core i7 8700, or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, 16GB of RAM, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700,
For ray tracing, it is recommended that you have Windows 10 Version 2004 or later, and any of the following graphic cards:
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 (4K / 45fps)
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 (4K / 60fps)
- AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT (4K / 45fps)
- AMD Radeon RX 6800 (4K / 45fps)
- AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT (4K / 60fps)
Resident Evil Village is coming out on May 7, 2021, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows. The game has already received a demo on PlayStation 5 consoles in January 2021 that showcased the Lady Dimitrescu, also known as the Tall Vampire Lady, and her daughters.
Furthermore, players who are planning on purchasing Resident Evil Village will also get Resident Evil Re:Verse completely free. RE Re:Verse will be getting an open beta on April 7, 2021, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
