There should always be a few different combos playing it out at the top of the Call of Duty Warzone meta pile.

And Season 4 is no different, with gamers trying to suss out what the best Warzone loadout is following the nerfing of the MG 82.

As usual, a lot of this is down to what the pros are talking about and your own personal preference, meaning that even if an LMG is seen as brilliant, it might not fit your playstyle.

One weapon that appears to endure any season of Call of Duty Warzone at the top of the meta is the Kar98K.

The gun has remained such a staple that it’s always worth mentioning it, even away from Solo matches.

Being a long-range weapon helps to identify what stats you’re looking to increase, with one-shot headshots a big draw.

One of the most common loadouts used for Kar98K includes the following attachments:

Laser: Tac Laser

Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor

Barrel: Singuard Custom 27.6 Barrel

Optic: Sniper Scope (no attachment needed)

Stock: FTAC Sport Comb

This combines into a hefty tool that can help with the final circle across wide-open spaces.

But what about the weapon you’ll need to run and gun through Verdansk or Rebirth Island?

Currently, both the FARA 83 and the Milano have been suggested as topping the current Warzone Season 4 meta pile.

Much of this is down to recent changes that has tweaked the recoil on a number of attachments, favouring several weapon archetypes.

The FARA has been noted as a great candidate due to its range and bullet velocity, which has put it into a number of top five selections among fans.

Depending on your preference and whether you plan to use this weapon alongside a sniper or another secondary, here is one loadout that is proving popular:

Ammunition: Spetsnaz 60 Rnd

Optic: Axial Arms 3x

Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Grip

Barrel: 18.1” Takedown (unlocks at level 20)

Muzzle: Suppressor (unlocks at level 20)

Some of these will prove interchangeable depending on your needs, including if you need faster speed to look through the sight or favour some with different recoil balancing.

The Suppressor is popping up as a more viable choice to the recent Season 4 rework, although many still favour the GRU Suppressor because of the ADS.

Another weapon getting good reviews is the Milano, with trusted loadout builder JGOD providing the latest in a new video.

This covers how the new Season 4 changes have made the Milano a much more viable option both at close and long-range.

He also shared this news after posting the video, telling gamers on YouTube: “I changed the attachments a little too quickly at the end for the SMG build, it is supposed to be tiger team, not ember sighting. I would not use an ember sighting for an SMG over the tiger team ever. My mistake.

“Also, I was using it on Rebirth so I was using the Regular suppressor over the Agency which is a little better for BV, don’t need the Extra BV unless you are running at range.”
