Xbox Summer SWAG, International Merch, Project xCloud – Daily Esports
Xbox, like many gaming brands, has a lot of really cool merch. But unless you live in America, the UK, or Canada, it’s rather difficult to get your hands on; that is until now. The Xbox merchandise store now offers international shipping to most countries. Xbox fans from Australia and New Zealand finally received some limited edition SWAG love with the new Xbox Summer Gear campaign. In addition, Project xCloud is coming soon. Read on for lots of summer Xbox vibes.
Summer of Xbox: Let’s Play
In celebration of the recent Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S launches, Xbox gave gamers from Australia and New Zealand something special. Fans from the ANZ region often miss out on some of the big international giveaways. Plus, until recently, it’s been impossible to purchase anything from the Xbox Gear Store due to the international shipping constraints.
Gamers down under now have the chance to show off some limited edition merch. In collaboration with local graphic artist Dale Bigeni, Xbox ANZ created a unique Xbox print. It’s got a very “cameo” look and is perfect for the Aussie/NZ weather. Fans had the opportunity to win some of this limited edition SWAG which included a reversible bucket hat, bag, light-weight towel, and of course some snacks. All gamers had to do was tell Xbox how they plan to game everywhere this summer. Fifty lucky people were the recipients of this prize pack with winners already being contacted. Keep a look out on socials over the next few days to see the Aussies and Kiwis rocking this Xbox Summer SWAG.
Regardless if you won or not, it was great to see the many ways players are enjoying gaming on the go (or in a pandemic). Some of the answers included using remote play, setting up a projector outdoors, gaming on the go with the Razer Kishi, or using the Xbox App on mobile. People were also getting excited about the new Project xCloud.
If you’re keen to game on the go, take a look at Project xCloud. It’s a new cloud streaming service launching soon. You can register your interest for the preview. Registration is limited and currently open to residents in Australia, Brazil, Japan, and Mexico. Sign up now to participate and help shape the future of game streaming.
