Valorant First Strike streaming schedule and open qualifier bracket

Today, October 26, is the first day of the Valorant First Strike tournament, and if you’re eager to watch the North American teams duel it out, we have the streaming schedule. The first round of North American matches will begin this afternoon at 2 PM PT, with the second round starting shortly thereafter. The current tournament schedule estimates Round #2 of the Qualifiers to start at 5 PM PT.

While Nerd Street Gamers (NSG) is hosting the tournament streams, its Twitch channel will not broadcast the event until Wednesday, October 28 at 2 PM PT. The first four rounds of Qualifiers, including the sweet 16, will only be broadcasted by the community’s own channels. The North America Valorant Twitch channel will also broadcast the tournament starting on Wednesday. However, if you want to catch some of the streams that will happen today and tomorrow, NSG will also have “community casters” streaming the game.

However, at the time of writing, NSG has not supplied a list of these community casters. In the meantime, mark your calendar for these tournament dates and times.

Open Qualifiers Bracket

As you can see from the image above, this first tournament is going to be chaotic. 128 teams will slug it out in the first round. Thankfully, it’s just a single-elimination bracket, with winners going to the best of three matches. The matches are paired by highest seed to lowest seed, working its way to the middle.

With this many teams, there will be plenty of unfamiliar teams, but many fan favorites are competing as well. These more well-known teams include the No. 1 seed, the Sentinels, as well as SSG, T1, Luminosity, TSM, Renegades, Premier, BDS, 100 Thieves, FaZe Clan, and the newly formed Cloud9 White.

This is esports history in the making with the very first official Valorant tournament! With a $100,000 prize pool in NA, these 128 teams have plenty to fight for. Be sure to stay tuned to Daily Esports for Valorant First Strike updates.
