PSG.LGD remain an unstoppable force at OGA Dota PIT Season 3: China
After EHOME were eliminated from the OGA Dota PIT Season 3: China, it was time for the upper bracket finals brawl between Team Aster and PSG.LGD.
Having not lost a full series
since losing to LBZS at the China Dota2 Pro Cup Season 1, PSG.LGD’s new lineup was
seeming to be a dominant force in the regional scene. Nearly every team in the
region had gone up against the team and have succumbed to their amazing prowess,
and today, it was Aster’s turn to attempt to break them down.
Going into the series, it was
clear that LGD were far and above the better team, as they took a commanding
victory, leaving Aster in their dust without too many issues. An unkillable
Troll Warlord for Wang “Ame” Chunyu was at the head of the LGD attack, as they claimed
the lead in the series.
While things seemed far better
for Aster in game two, not falling behind as early and by as much, the power of
both LGD’s draft and the team themselves proved to be far too much for Aster to
contend with. In a little over half an hour, LGD were able to stomp their
opponents into submission, securing another easy 2-0 victory and their spot in
the Grand Finals of OGA Dota PIT Season 3: China.
With that, Aster will now look to
the lower bracket finals tomorrow, where they will face Vici Gaming, as both
teams look to take some revenge on LGD in the grand finals.
