More Details on BBL and Pacaembu Esports Venue Deal
Esports promotion group Bad Boy Leeroy (BBL) released an English-language video Wednesday promoting the recently announced partnership with Allegra Pacaembu for an esports venue in the legendary Brazilian stadium.
The video features the ambassadors of the project, League of Legends players Felipe “brTT” Gonçalves and Júlia “Mayumi” Nakamura, Free Fire player Bruno “Nobru” Goes, the esports entrepreneur Nicolle “Cherrygumms” Merhy, and streamer Willian “gORDOx” Rodrigues.
BBL and Allegro Pacaembu have partnered in a $95M BRL ($16.98M USD) investment for the new venue, which will be the biggest battle royale arena in the world. According to Allegra’s CEO Eduardo Barella, from that amount $45M BRL ($8.05M USD) are earmarked for infrastructure work under Allegra Pacaembu’s responsibility, while $40M BRL ($7.15M USD) will be invested by BBL to cover the cost for equipment, technology, and operations.
