The Misfits Gaming Group, owners of Misfits Gaming (LEC), the Florida Mayhem (OWL), and the Florida Mutineers (CDL), has expanded its partnership deal with the Miami Heat and Orlando Magic that enables the two NBA teams to include all MGG properties in strategic partnership opportunities.

The collaboration between the three entities is designed to develop opportunities for endemic and non-endemic brands in the esports marketing space. This will allow brands to have more access to teams, audiences, and fans in developing tailored sponsorship options across all teams and markets. Both the Heat and Magic will have the rights to include MGG in partnership deals as well as assist in marketing, promotion, digital, and sponsorship sales.

The Heat and Magic have already made commitments in the esports space through their original partnership with MGG. This new deal will allow the teams to integrate having access to the Overwatch League, Call of Duty League, and the League of Legends European Championship teams.
