Fnatic confirms 'Nisqy' as the new mid-laner for the 2021 LEC season
One of the first rumors we had about roster changes and player transfers for this year’s ‘Free Agency’ season affected the mid lane of the most legendary European organization, Fnatic, when the news about Tim ‘Nemesis‘ Lipovšek leaving the team started running.
From that moment, many candidates were rumored to be chosen as the new mid laner for the upcoming 2021 LEC season, but there was one name that kept getting stronger: Yasin ‘Nisqy‘ Dinçer
The Belgian player has been the main mid laner for Cloud9 in the LCS for two years, but as we know, the North American teams are now in the process of renewal after the disastrous international results, and Cloud9 is not an exception.
Thus, the rumor about Nisqy arriving at Fnatic’s mid lane was increasingly consolidated, until a few hours ago the team itself confirmed it:

It wouldn’t be the first time that Nisqy wears the black and orange jersey. The mid laner already played in Fnatic’s academy team back in 2016, but now, he returns as a LEC player.
In his pocket, Nisqy brings an LCS title and a playstyle that Fnatic seeks to combine with Oskar ‘Selfmade‘ Boderek, the jungler, in a mid-jungle synergy that gave the team many successes in the past season.
The rest of Nisqy’s new teammates are still not confirmed, but after the departure of Martin ‘Rekkles‘ Larsson to G2 Esports, everything points to the fact that the final roster will be:
- Top – Gabriël ‘Bwipo‘ Rau
- Jungle – Oskar ‘Selfmade‘ Boderek
- Mid – Yasin ‘Nisqy‘ Dinçer
- ADC – Elias ‘Upset‘ Lipp
- Support – Zdravets ‘Hylissang‘ Galabov
- Coach – Jakob ‘YamatoCannon‘ Mebdi
This means that only Bwipo, Selfmade, and Hylissang remain from the former roster. The rest of the names (except for Nisqy) are still not confirmed, but the most certain rumor is the one about Upset becoming the new ACD.
Nevertheless, we will keep you updated with every new information regarding Fnatic’s roster movements. Stay tuned!
