Dignitas Signs Naming Rights Deal for LCS Team With QNTMPAY – The Esports Observer
Esports organization Dignitas has announced a four-year deal with digital bank QNTMPAY which will see its LCS team renamed to Dignitas QNTMPAY. This is the first naming rights deal in the LCS since the league moved to a franchise model in 2018.
Dignitas’ academy team will similarly rebrand to DIG QNTM Academy. The brand will also be displayed on team jerseys and across various content and social media activations.
“The union between Dignitas and QNTMPAY for the first franchise-era LCS team entitlement is more than just a partnership, it’s a seminal moment for the world of esports,” New Meta Entertainment and Dignitas CEO Michael Prindiville told The Esports Observer. “It’s about innovation, opening up new opportunities and creating a healthier ecosystem for the players, fans, teams, publishers and innovative products authentic to the space.”
The renamed team will debut on June 4 as the 2021 LCS Summer Split kicks off.
